The Florida Strawberry Festival continues this weekend at the fairgrounds in Plant City. Performers this weekend include: Today at 1 p.m., Caroline Kole; 3:30 p.m., Gloriana; 7:30 p.m., Justin Moore. "AMOUR,"

which won the Best Foreign Film Oscar on Sunday, screens at the Polk Theatre in Lakeland this weekend. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday for the film starring Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva. Rated PG-13 for mature thematic material. In French with subtitles. Admission is $7 adults, $5 students/seniors, $4 children.

DR. SEUSS DAY

takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Explorations V, Children's Museum in Lakeland. Includes hands-on activities based on Dr. Seuss books. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Seuss character. Part of museum admission.

POLK COUNTY'S HOMETOWN HEROES

get a welcome home at 10 a.m. at Lake Mirror Promenade, Lakeland. Welcomed will be Baltimore Ravens players Ray Lewis, Albert McClellan and Jah Reid.

FLORIDA JETS

features 300 radio-controlled jets. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sunday. Admission is $10, includes parking and pit pass. Age 12 and younger free at Gate 36 on West Pipkin Road, Lakeland.

THE CENTRAL FLORIDA DANCE CELEBRATION

is a collaborative dance performance from six companies, including Highland School of Dance from Lakeland. The show is held at 7 p.m. at Branscomb Auditorium, Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Admission is $8 at the door.

FHSAA BOYS BASKETBALL FINALS

wrap up today at the Arena, The Lakeland Center. Admission is $10.

A DETROIT TIGERS SPRING TRAINING GAME

Legends Baseball Clinic is for ages 7-14 and takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Simpson Park Field in Lakeland.

THE ANNUAL BARTOW BLOOMIN' ARTS FESTIVAL

is held this weekend. It includes an art show, classic car show, entertainment, children's tent, children's face painting, bike ride, flower show, quilt display. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the downtown area.

PRESIDIO BRASS

can be heard in concert at 7:30 at the Fine Arts Theatre, Polk State College in Winter Haven. Admission is $20; 297-1050.

LOTELA GOLD

performs in concert at 7 p.m. at the Ramon Theater, 15 E. Wall St., Frostproof. Admission is $20; at the door.

JIM STAFFORD,
